What is a Parks and Recreation Masterplan?
The Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake's Parks and Recreation Masterplan will be used as a policy document to assist in determining parks and recreation requirements for the Town, which, in coexistence with Council's Strategic Plan, will inform future investment and development. It will guide policy development and service delivery, prioritize demands and opportunities, and assess current parks and recreational facilities, playgrounds and programs, existing user fees and cost recovery opportunities.
Based on input from the public, the Plan may include revitalized park spaces, enhanced recreational facilities, new program offerings, and more.
