The Tanbark Road Storm Sewer, Watermain and Road Reconstruction has been awarded to Peters Construction Group Ltd. and is set to begin the week of July 9, 2018. The project is scheduled for approximately 15 weeks, weather permitting.
At times there may be some inconvenience to you during the construction period and we respectfully request your patience and co-operation during this period. Should access to your driveway be interrupted, you will be given notice from the contractor. Access to driveways will be restored daily. Work hours will typically be 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.

Town Engineering staff will be holding an open house for the Tanbark Road Storm Sewer, Watermain and Road Reconstruction Project on February 12, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Residents of the affected area are encouraged to come to the Operations building located at 3 Lorraine Street, Niagara-on-the-Lake (behind Town Hall) to review the parameters of the project. Local residents along Tanbark Road will be notified by written notice during the week of February 5, 2018.

The Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake and R.V. Anderson Associates Ltd. are near completion of the detailed design for this project and will be holding an open house in February 2018 to allow local residents to comment on the design for the Tanbark Road Watermain, Storm Sewer and Road Reconstruction project.
The project will be open for a public tendering period from April 2, 2018, to April 17, 2018. A recommendation for the award of the project to the lowest bidder will be brought to Council for approval on May 14, 2018. The targeted start of construction will be early-to-mid June 2018, subject to the Town receiving all required Ministry approvals.
